I have been away most of the week, but that hasn’t stopped Tony Marr raking in some nice birds in Ness. All shots in the gallery with this post are his.

Today he found a Swift flying around the offshore stacks at the Butt. The percentage chances were that it was going to be a Pallid, but it turned out to be a Common. Common it isn’t at this time of year, and a cracking record to add to Tony’s list this autumn.
