Wood Sand and others

Another hectic but fun day. Met up with the Yorkshire crew and we saw the Bonapartes at Melbost Borve again plus a cracking Wood Sandpiper there and 45 Turnstone.

At Loch Stiapabhat we found 3 Woodpigeons, 4 Black tailed Godwits and a Swift (Tony had a Wood Sand there later). 11 Whimbrel were around the Butt.

No Sign of the American Wigeon in Stornoway today but 40 Swallows at Laxdale between showers was a very high tally. 55 Long tailed Ducks and the female Scaup remain at Loch Brannahuie.

Also a report of a White billed Diver in Loch Roag yday.
