Red rump and Dots

Five Dotterel were flushed from Barvas machair this morning and the Turtle Dove remains elusive in Bragar, where at least three Corncrakes are calling.

Tony Marr refound his Red-rumped Swallow along the east side of Loch Stiapavat today (or was it another? – surely not) with other hirundines and 3 Swifts new in. The rain has come and the wind is swinging. Is this the end of our summer?!
