No beached birds

Guess thats a good thing. Our surveys produced low lights of random toothbrushs, dead sheep and not much else round the coasts.

Birdwise the weekend saw 19 Greenland Whitefronts at Barvas with the Northern Harrier making another reapprearnce on Sunday in the river valley to the south while a Jack Snipe was at the southern marsh on Saturday. 240 Common Gulls on Sunday were joined by 110 Great Black backs and a 1w Glaucous.

A 1w Iceland gull was at Tong Sands off Cross Street while 4 Grey Plover wandered the sand banks.

Elsewhere the male Bullfinch loiters in Bragar but is a real pain to track down.
