Calm conditions found a drake Surf Scoter in the Sound of Taransay. A regular location but far from guaranteed. Birds have returned for a number of years now and generally are very distant and hard to find. The best bet is to view towards the Taransay sand bar from Luskentyre. 26 Slavonian Grebes was also a good count.
