What’s in the box?

A few migrants about today. Spotted flycatcher in Brue and a couple of Willow Warblers in Barvas. A call from the police diverted me to Stornoway and I ended up coming home with a Guga (young Gannet) and a Manx Shearwater, both picked up overnight.

4 Curlew Sandpipers remained at Tong and 17 Lapland Buntings over Brue were the best of the afternoon.

Y’days Uig White rumped Sandpiper was reidentified as a Dunlin.
